Vision Planning
Vision plans are the first visual step towards the masterplan. Evolving from the concept plan, a vision plan will show how the site might look upon completion and how the designer has adapted the generic elements of the concept to fit the site. For example, where a concept plan might show a ‘key route' and represent it with a dotted line, a vision plan would show a pedestrianised crushed brick path. As part of a funding bid, a vision plan is of paramount importance as it gives a clear, visual representation of the ambitions of the client and designer. Vision planning is the last step towards a masterplan and is much more subject to change.
