What is it?

BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes is an assessment which aims to protect the environment by guiding on the construction of new homes. Government regulations state that all new builds should be zero carbon rated by 2016. BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes surveys enable developers to work towards these targets.

How we do it...

By delivering ‘BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes’ ecological assessments; we help developers to meet government requirements. Who have we done it for?

We enabled the South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA) to achieve BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes status for the Dalefield Extra Care Eco Homes project and Canklow Gate. We worked with the Building Schools for the Future Programme; carrying out BREEAM Ecological Assessments at Newfield and Talbot School, Silverdale and Yewlands School Technology College.
