Maintaining new greenspace sites in Sheffield

Wildscapes have been awarded a fantastic new contract to deliver our sustainable maintenance package at the site of the old Westfield Lower School near Halfway. As part of the project we have carried out ecoloigical surveys which will inform our management of the site. We will be delivering monthly maintenance within the site to make it safe and more inviting.
Our engagement with the local school through educational workshops will help children learn about wildlife on the site. We will also be leading a community bulb planting day to enable local people to get stuck into helping their local greenspace.
We have already met some community members who are looking forward to us being around to share our interest in the local wildlife with them.
