I have over 25 years experience of carrying out a wide range of ecological surveys across the country. My real passion is for plants and carrying out habitat surveys but in recent years I have diversified into specialising in protected fauna species. I am licenced to carry out surveys for bats, great crested newts and white clawed crayfish.

My love of the subject has enabled me to support many trainees to develop their knowledge and experience of ecology and biodiversity. I have worked on the development of a wide variety of sites to enhance wildlife.

In my spare time I run a book club and I am always reading. I also love watching 'Doctor Who' with my little girl.
